PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS OF DEVELOPING A CHILD'S EMOTIONAL ORIENTATION ON THE PEER

The article is devoted to the issue of developing a child's emotional orientation on the peer as one of the aspects of children's social and communicative development. A child's emotional orientation on the peer is considered as ability to perceive, understand and share the emotional states of another child. At the context of this article the author distinguishes the fea- tures of children's emotional orientation on their peers and considers pedagogical aspect of the problem with a focus on pedagogical conditions of developing ability to recognize peers' emotional states, display empathy, establish and sustain relationships at toddlers and pre- schoolers
