Abstract

In present study the results of surgical treatment of 60 patients with chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs are submitted. Alongside with conventional interference ? simple venectomy by Babcock, authors also used subfascial endoscopic perforance ligation and cathether sclerotherapy of the main shaft of the saphenic vein. In the group of patients, in treatment of which one miniinvasive methods were used, there were no purulent complications. Also the introduction in clinical practice of the SEPS method in combination with a distal saphen trunks scleroobliteration shortens the stay of patients in hospital and substantially decreases economic expenses on their treatment. The further study of subfascial endoscopic perforance ligation and cathether sclerotherapy of the main shaft of the saphenic vein capabilities in treatment of other stages of chronic venous insufficiency is necessary.
