The role of pathoanatomical departments in improving medical education (literature review)

The article discusses the relevance of formation and improvement of clinical thinking in the primary and subsequent postgraduate continuous medical education of clinicians. The article provides the rationale that the post-mortem examination remains the "gold standard" of post-mortem diagnostics, and the frequency and relevance of intravital pathoanatomical diagnostics (biopsies) only increases every year.
