Presentation And Analysis of H. 1102 (M. 1690-1691) Dated Harput District Jizya Book/H. 1102 (M. 1690-1691) TARİHLİ HARPUT KAZASI CİZYE DEFTERİNİN TANITIMI VE TAHLİLİ

Jizya Book, which are one of the most important resources of Ottoman Empire's socio-economic history, include very important data reflecting the social and economical features of the era that they belong to. In this study, Harput District's jizya books's (which were kept in H.1102 /M.1690-1691) presentation and analysis have been presented. In the record, the neighbourhoods, villages and fields in Harput where non-muslim population lived have been given and their names, fathers' names, income statues, Professional and physical properties (such as length, beard-moustache, eye colour, disabled or not) have been identified. Within this study, a section of Harput District's socio-economic traits have been questioned and some observations have been made.
