Abstract

The results of cross-spectrum analysis of long-term record of precipitation and temperatures (1960-2014) at the “Mozdok” meteorological station (m/s) located in dry steppe zone of the Central Pre-Caucasian region (137 m above sea level) are given. It fills a gap in assessment of climatic conditions for this region. Based on the data values the climatic coefficients were obtained ? the N.N. Ivanov's precipitation ratio, the G.T. Selyaninov's hydrothermal coefficient, the continentality coefficient of N.N. Ivanov, the normalized dryness index of V.S. Mezentsev and V.B. Vinogradov: climatic norms for 1961-1990, values for 1991-2014. Dynamics of these coefficients for the post-reference period of 1991-2014 taking into account the Cox-Stewart's criterion are characterized.
