ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION IN FOREIGN ARMED FORCES

The article describes the organization, content, forms, methods, tools and traditions of patriotic education of soldiers in the armies of the United States of America, Germany, France, Great Britain and China. Key elements of patriotism education systems in foreign ar- mies and their role in combat training have been revealed. The features of each patriotic edu- cation system of the personnel of the world leading armies have been identified. The author, after analyzing the concepts of patriotic education of military personnel of foreign countries, concludes that there is a positive potential in them and he proposes to integrate it into the sys- tem of military education of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation taking into account Russian specifics
