Abstract

Experiments were conducted to investigate the long-term stability of concrete pillars in time and to determine the coefficient of lateral deformation by creep of the concrete. Experimental full curves of the longitudinal and transverse strains derived from the averaged data of three prisms. The comparison of the experimental and theoretical data leads us to the conclusion that concrete class C20/25 coefficient complete transverse deformation first increases and then decreases with time and approaches to the elastic top value. Similarly The coefficient of transverse creep deformation changes over time in a similar way, but it approaches elastic value from the bottom.
