Abstract

The article presents the review some of psychoanalytic ideas about the state of the pregnancy. The issues of pregnancy were considered as a crisis and stages of achievement of personal maturity of women. H. Deutsch, J. Kestenberg, D. Pines, T. Benedek, G. Bibring considered the pregnancy as a crisis period in a woman's life. Experience of interaction with the mother figure is the backbone of the mental health of the child. Difficulty in passing of the crisis pregnancy breaks the relationships of mother-infant immediate postpartum period. The child does not detect the response (empathy, compassion) from his mother's side, – are formed and fastened the pathological reaction. The vicious circle of the disturbed early relationship mother-child begins. Separation from mother, abandonment of early identification and identi- fication with the mother as object emerging from the experience of motherhood allows a woman to cope with the crisis pregnancy
