ACUTE DISSEMINATED ENCEPHALOMYELITIS (ADEM) -A CASE REPORT

Abstract : ADEM is an acute uniphasic syndrome caused by immune mediated inflammatory demyelination, often associated with immunization or viral illness. ADEM is associated with multiple neurological symptoms. We are presenting a case of ADEM with altered level of consciousnes ,without seizure and hemiparesis which responded very well to high dose steroids both clinically and radiologically.
