MOYAMOYA DISEASE - CASE REPORT AND REVIEW OF RECENT UPDATES AND FUTURE PERSPECTIVES

We report a case of 18 months old female child presented with complaints of left focal seizure and left sided hemiparesis. On MRA the child was diagnosed to have Moya Moya disease. Moya Moya disease is a rare cause of cerebral stroke in children. The patient was treated conservatively and referred to higher centre for surgery. Neurosurgical Revascularization procedure leads to favourable outcome.
