Abstract
The scarcity of science fiction in Indian literature and Indian Cinema raises many questions related to our mind sets and ideologies. Since the time of the printing machine, millions of the books got published in India in English, Hindi and more than twenty five regional languages. But when we count the number of science fictions, it is horribly meager. These books found neither readers nor acclamation.
