Assessment of Quality of Nursing Work Life

In the present ever competitive era, more and more organizations have started realizing the fact that to get best out of the employees, organizations need to look after their Quality of Work Life; and the health care industry is not an exception to this. This Empirical Paper analyzes the opinions of 100 Nurses of 5 hospitals of South Gujarat region. The study highlights the Quality of Nursing Work Life (QNWL) dimensions wherein the hospitals are doing well and recommendations have been made for the aspects where the nurses have reported low QNWL. The demographic variables like age and experience are found to be closely associated with the perceived QNWL, while variables of education and marital status of the respondents have no significant association with QNWL.
