About some peculiarities of calculation of protection zones of wire air-termination lightning rod

The reason for the significant number of fires occurring in the world is caused by lightning strikes, which is why a lightning protection system of an: apartment building, industrial building, office center, school, hospital or kindergarten is very important. Recently, the problem of lightning protection and surge protection has become even more urgent due to the fact that the number of consumers sensitive to surges and electromagnetic interference increases. In order to organize a reliable lightning protection system, it is necessary to develop a full-fledged project that must take into account the requirements of fire safety, the architecture of the building and the design of engineering systems. The heart of the project is the calculation of protection zones of lightning receivers. The article suggests a method for simplifying the computational dependencies for a wire air-termination system.
