Appliance of electronic educational complexes (EEC) while studying technical disciplines with the aim of educational process optimization was reviewed in the article. EEC is a complex of electronic study materials which help students to learn a discipline in accordance with the curriculum syllabus. 3D-specifications are documents which include 3D-objects of high quality which were created as a PDF document due to which the models for independent review are created. In the process of studying such specification, a user gets all the necessary information about literate execution of construction documentation and realization of the graphical part of a term project within the discipline called ‘The cars' details and the principle of design' with the least quantity of mistakes.
