THE SYSTEM OF THE SUPREME JUDICIAL AUTHORITIES IN GRAND DUCHY OF LITHUANIA

This article is devoted to the formation and development of system of the supreme judicial authorities in the territory of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The attention is paid to a procedure of these courts activity performance and distribution of their competence. The structure and an order of appointment of judges, and also interaction of higher judicial instances are determined. The role of the Grand Duke of Lithuania in development of judicial system and in direct activity of grand-ducal court is noted.
