Abstract
Based on the research the definition of the concept "economic potential" is specified and the conclusion is drawn that in the science the system orderliness in its characteristic, typology, structuring is still not reached, and in this regard the validity and legitimacy of "study of potential " and " study of economic potential " as special branch of scientific knowledge is increased.
