Abstract

In the article it is shown that in the process of concrete made based on cement mixtures insulating explosion-proof stoppings construction they get heated. This is a natural process due to exothermic homogeneous chemical reaction between water and the cement mixture components heat generation occurs for a long time. The temperature rise due to heat generation depends on the cement mixture chemical composition, on the ratio of heat removal surface to the structures mass, and on the optimum ratio of water and cement mixture. It is concluded that the heat during the cement mixture stopping construction is a natural process due to cement mixture components homogeneous exothermic chemical reaction as a result of hydration when cement is mixed with water. By the magnitude of heat generation it is possible to determine the degree of hydration of the cement mixture and to predict the limit of cement stone strength over time.
