The interaction of human being with the nature actual branch of scientific researches. In Lithuania questions of interrelation of the human being and the nature are poorly studied. Especially pedagogical aspects. On the other hand this problematics very complex and various. It is important to know as itself the person in the nature behave. The human being should recognize the nature as value. Problematical character in attitudes with the nature lays that we often only ascertain negative acts, but precisely we do not know why it happens. In ontogenesis the human being character of interrelation with the nature varies. Only having analysed the mechanism of mutual relations probably to model systems of correction and directly to apply them in an educational practice. In this article results of research in aspect of sympathies and antipathies to animals and plants are presented. Pupils of 5th -12th forms of comprehensive schools of Lithuania have taken part in research (total 1787). 935 (55.1%) female and 763 (44.9%) male applicants have been the object of the research. A consecutive “bunch” system has been applied. This research was conducted in January-May 2005 in Lithuania. The statistical bundle of programmes SPSS was applied to analyze the research data. To determine the differences between features under analysis the χ² criterion and Fisher‘s multifunctional criterion φ were applied. In sample schools from all districts of Lithuania are selected (more than 25 schools). It is revealed that sympathies and antipathies to animals depends on age and a sex of respondents. The nicest (simpatico) animals are the dog, a cat, a tiger, a lion and the panda. The most antipathetic animals are the snake, a rat, a spider and a cat. It is the nicest animals living in Lithuania, domesticated, meat-eating and vertebrate. The most antipathetic in Lithuania living and wild animals. The nicest plants are the rose, a cactus, a tulip, an oak and a water lily. The most antipathetic plants are the nettle, a dandelion, a cactus, a thistle, a tulip. The nicest plants are in Lithuania not growing, blossoming plants. The most antipathetic plants are in Lithuania growing, blossoming, sharp, stinging plants. Our results coincide with other researches. We do the assumption that boys more than girls are adjusted to preservation of the environment and the nature. The interrelation with the nature always has an emotional shade. The interrelation with the nature is subjective, is expressed through different acts and other practical activities. We accent, that harmonious relations of the human being and the nature are possible only at formation of ecological mentality, ecological culture and modern natural science understanding of the world.
