Abstract

This study considered sustainable development of Ukrainian regions in compliance with competitive advantages of rational resources use, the concept of desirable social development in its interaction with the environment. Competitive advantages within sustainable development of regions are promoted by marketing and logistics. Marketing and logistics at the region level provide the following points: research of the appeared demand or its formation, and promotional support of commodity flow to consumer by means of minimizing costs on each area of commodity promotion. The factors of macroenvironment that form opportunities and threats for both market actors and the regions themselves have been explored. Diagrammatic opportunities model of marketing and logistics within sustainable development of Ukrainian regions has been suggested.
