Conceptual Approach to the Estimation of Modernisation Level of the Donbas Industrial Cities

Presently the vast material sanctified to the analysis of city as the social phenomenon is accumulated in literature. The conducted work on systematization of publications on Russian and foreign languages about cities and urbanization allowed to estimate all informative “bank” of publications. At all variety of publications a question is about that, a city as habitat is favourable or unfavorable for a man, does not have an unambigiuous answer.
