THE EVOLUTION OF THE SYSTEM OF COMPULSORY MEDICAL INSURANCE

Increasingly important in our country is getting personal insurance. In 2016, the share of the insurance market's assets increased to 1.7% of the country's GDP [1]. One of the most promising types of insurance has been and remains a medical, which in turn is divided into compulsory and voluntary insurance. The purpose of writing this article was the need for a review of the stages of development of the insurance model of health care in Russia over the past two decades, as well as to characterize the prospects of its further development in the future.
