Abstract

Ventilated front is a system consisting of the outer facade, the structure attached to the surface of the walls of the building, insulation and air gap between the outer facade and insulation material. The air flow inside the ventilated channel, caused by the effect of buoyancy, takes the heat load by means of natural convection. Energy analysis of a ventilated facade overhaul and reconstruction of buildings and structures is difficult due to the following factors: the general lack of data related to the ventilated facades; lack of software tools that can fully evaluate the thermal behavior of ventilated facade opaque.
