Abstract

Enteric fever is a systemic illness characterized by fever and abdominal pain and caused by dissemination of S. typhi or S. paratyphi. It is more common in children and young adults than in older patients. Apart from classical clinical presentation, this disease can present with neurological manifestations like headache, altered consciousness, delirium, ataxia, confusion and seizures. Here we report a case of enteric fever with cerebellar syndrome and neuropsychiatric manifestations.
