ANALYSIS OF THE CAUSES OF DEFECTS IN BUILDING STRUCTURES

: The analysis of the elements of building structures, which are most susceptible to various defects, as well as the reasons for their occurrence, is carried out in the work. Analysis of foreign studies (Sri Lanka, Great Britain, Australia, Nigeria, South Africa) allowed the construction of a distribution of the frequency of defects in various elements of building structures. The most important causes of defects in building structures, among which are the human factor, are revealed. It is necessary to match the qualification level to the working level of the organization's competitiveness, which contributes to its sustainable development and the safe functioning of the facility.
