Abstract

The works of Sabir Azeri, the Azerbaijani writer are of great importance from the point of view of the study of the Soviet people's spirituality. The article reviews the artistic features of the author's novel "At the dead end", where the hero faces life's many difficult questions not having an answer. At the same time, the an- swers are sought not only for one person's life. The novel puts universal, humane questions related to the aliena- tion of the person from a society as a whole. The distinctive features of the author's novel are compared with other novels of Azerbaijani fiction masters. The article provides a comparative analysis of the inner world of two women - Farida and Gulsafa. The masterfully revealed contradictions of the inner world of the protagonist are analyzed
