Abstract

ABSTRACT Cloud computing has formed the conceptual and infrastructural basis for tomorrow's computing. The global computing infrastructure is rapidly moving towards cloud based architecture. While it is important to take advantages of could based computing by means of deploying it in diversified sectors, the security aspects in a cloud based computing environment remains at the core of interest. Cloud based services and service providers are being evolved which has resulted in a new business trend based on cloud technology. This paper presents a review on the cloud computing concepts as well as security issues inherent within the context of cloud computing and cloud infrastructure. We propose a cloud-based secure data system, which allows patients to securely store their PHR on the semi-trusted cloud service providers, and selectively share their PHR with a authenticated doctor, to reduce the key management complexity for patients and doctor. Different from previous cloud based data system, patients encrypt their PHR for doctor using CP-ABE Encryption scheme. Another advanced specification is, if any doctor want personal file to download, the doctor will send the request to the patients. The PHR owner has the Access Control. If the Owner wants to share the original file with the doctor, he shares these keys to doctor. After accepts request the doctor download the secret key and use this key to download the original data.
