FEATURES OF TRANSLATION OF TERMS OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY (laying on Chinese language)

This article examines the characteristics of the translation of terms oil and gas industry. The article considers such concepts as scientific style, scientific style, scientific-technical terminology oil and gas terminol- ogy. To scientific and technical terminology relates the words that express the special concept. These words are intended to clearly identify the objects, processes, events relevant to a particular area of scientific knowledge to the particular field of science or technology. The article highlights the following features of the translation: struc- tural calques, etymological tracings, transcription, borrowing foreign acronyms with tracings, phonetic borrow- ing with semantic borrowing
