Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarity of the formation of the communicative skills of senior preschool children in the theatrical activity, during which the child acquires the experience of using symbolic means, such as speech, facial expressions, plasticity, pantomime, singing, which he implements in interpersonal relations, thereby enriching his social competence in the process of interaction with others.
