MODERN TECHNOLOGY IN TRAINING OF FUTURE MANAGERS FOR THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

Abstract

The authors of the article have considered the issues of improvement of professional training of future managers, including their training to master the foreign language business communication skills. It has been noted that the ability of foreign language business communication is an important indicator of professionalism of modern managers, who frequently have to work in conditions of international economic space. Thus, the formation of foreign language business skills nowadays is an integral part of professional training of managers. The improvement of manager's professional training foresees the use of modern technologies and teaching methods. Based on the analysis of scientific literature the authors have proposed the definition of «education technologies» term. In the article such widespread education technologies as a problem-based learning technology, learning group activities, projection technology and technology of concentrated study have been analyzed. Much attention hass been paid to the need for broad implementation of interactive technologies of study in the process of training of future management specialists. These technologies include an active cooperation of all members of educational process. The basis of interactive learning is the activation of perception activity of students through communication among themselves, with the teacher, between groups with decision making of common problems. The interactive technologies contribute to intensification and optimization of educational process, to realize the ideas of teachers and students cooperation, to form communicative interaction skills and to increase the motivation to learn. The use of interactive technologies gives the possibility to creatively approach the learning information; to formulate their own opinion and correctly express it and defend its position. In the professional training of managers, including the formation of their foreign language business communication skills, the use of technology of analysis of particular situations is of great importance, and which is better known as a «case-method» or «case-study». For the first time this method was used at Harvard University. According to this method, students analyze and discuss the real managerial situation. They put themselves in the place of managers that described in the "situation", analyze the various components of the problem and recommend possible variants for its solution. This method allows to combine together the knowledge of many management disciplines and management units, realizing in practice interdisciplinary approach to education content and enabling both general and selective intensively discuss wide range of issues and develop more professional approach to management.
