Abstract

In the last decade of the 20th c. in the course of democratic reorganisation in the country, students with special educational needs (SEN) started to be educated in mainstream classrooms. Teachers met with difficulties in adjusting special school and mainstream school curricula. Recommendations for Adaptation of the Content of Education (2009) was a qualitatively new step in presenting the content of education: the areas for students with and without SEN coincide, and the content is accessible. Students with moderate and severe SEN (due to the mild learning difficulties), with teachers' support can acquire basic knowledge, understanding and skills in world study, and form their value attitudes. The article focuses on the features of evaluation of the subject World Study for these students. The suggested evaluation features are relevant in evaluating students in both mainstream and special classes.
