Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of blogs as modern and popular communicative means in the Internet, the case of German-speaking examples. Blogs have similar characteristics with other genres of Internet communication and with traditional genres. Means of expression of emotional state: smiles, exclamation marks, characteristic only for commu-nication in the Internet are actively used.
