PROFESSIONALLY SIGNIFICANT CHARACTERISTIC OF PERSONALITY IN THE SELF-IMAGE OF TEACHERS OF VARIOUS MAJORS IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The issue of representation of various professional characteristics in the self-image of teachers in higher education is considered. The differences in professional self-image of male and female teachers and teachers of human, technical and natural-science majors are noted. The methodology of studying the content of professional selfimage of teachers in higher education is described. The role of the obtained results in the development of follow-up for teachers in higher education is emphasized.
