COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE PECULIARITIES OF THE SELF-GOVERNMENT OF ADVOCATES OF ENGLAND AND UKRAINE

The article is devoted to the study of peculiarities of the systems self-government of advocates of England and Ukraine and their comparison. Self-government of barristers became the emphasis of the study of self-government in England. This emphasis was chosen because the legal status of barrister, in accordance with English law, is essentially close to the legal status of an advocate in Ukraine. The subject of the study is the main aspects of the systems of lawyer's self-government in decided countries. The article describes the structure of self-governing bodies, the obligatorily of membership in the bodies of the self-government of advocates. The study also devoted to the comparison of the main tasks and powers of the self-governing bodies of England and Ukraine. The conclusion is about the common and distinctive features of the self-government of advocates of England and Ukraine. In addition, there was some proposals formulated for the possible borrowing of British practice in Ukraine.
