A REWIEW OF THE MONOGRAPH BY I. O. KARELINA “THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTION UNDERSTANDING AT THE PRESCHOOL CHILDHOOD: A PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE”

In the review, an analysis of the monograph by I. O. Karelina “The development of emotion under- standing at the preschool childhood: a psychological perspective” is presented. The author of the book relies on the results of his own empirical researches as well as the results of foreign and native psychological studies, and discloses of developmental peculiarities at preschoolers of understanding key external aspects of emotions, un- derstanding the various mental aspects of emotions and impact of reflection on emotions. In the conclusion of the monograph the debatable aspects of the problem of emotion understanding by children are elucidated by author
