ETHICAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF N. A. BERDYAEV

The article introduces the study of ethical and philosophical heritage of Nikolai Alexandrovich Ber- dyaev. Particular attention is paid to the critical attitude of the philosopher to the understanding of morality in science, in particular in sociology. It is shown that the error of sociology in the understanding of morality in Ber- dyaev speaks of the fact that the society places the burden of explanation and assessment of moral values, whereas philosophy aims at the understanding of good and evil
