Abstract

The colonialism as the supremacy system of the leading global power over the rest of the world has a long story, which has begun in the 16th century, and has ended recently – in the middle of the 20th century, that is only half-century back. However, the post-colonial "independence" has come to nought to the young states in the Africa and Asia. What is the reason for this paradox? It should be noted that world experts have almost undivided opinion in this respect – there is a genesis of colonialism in neo-colonialism. In the paper, the following issues are considered: • Characteristic of the main manifestations of neo-colonialism in 20 and 21 centuries. • Characteristic features of the policy directed to the creation of export-oriented economy. • The analysis of various points of view on consequences of neocolonial impact of the developed countries on the Third World countries.
