A RARE CAUSE OF PYREXIA

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), is a potentially fatal disease that can be easily confused with many other disorders. The diverse presentations of lupus range from rash and arthritis through anemia and thrombocytopenia to serositis, nephritis, seizures and psychosis.The disease has a predilection for females. However, here we report a case of SLE in a male adolescent patient who presented with pyrexia in our OP department and later succumbed to multiorgan failure.
