SCOPE OF E-ASSESSMENT OF ANSWERS IN MATHEMATICAL DOMAIN

There are various research attempts made to automate the different types of answer assessment. One such major challenge is to automate the evaluation of answers in mathematical domain. Many research works are done in automating the evaluation of mathematical answer. This paper presents a survey of the E-Assessment systems in the mathematical domain and also depicts an overview of the E-Assessment systems in automata theory domain. Since there are many type of mathematical answers in the student answer script, each of which may require a unique approach. The scope of the E-Assessment systems on different problems associated in the mathematical domain is also discussed in this paper.
