Esteemed readers, we are pleased to share the issue of 2018/1 (Volume 3, Issue 1) of The Journal of Mesopotamian Studies which is published by the Institute of Living Languages in Turkey of Mardin Artuklu University. On this occasion, we would like to thank especially to the valuable scientists who have submitted their articles to be published in this issue of our journal; our esteemed colleagues who have allocated their time for the evaluation of these articles and everyone else who has laboured. We would like to remind you that we are already in the preparations for the next issue of our journal which has been indexed in ResearchBib, ASOS and idealonline indices beginning from February 2018 and we have applied to other national and international indices and we are looking forward for their positive responses
