Abstract
Takayasus arteritis is a rare disease involving chronic inflammation of large vessels Aorta and its branches,with their predilection towards young women of oriental origin(1).The uniform global incidence is 1-2million.Females make up 80 -90 of patients with this disease(3).We present here a rare case of Takayasus arteritis in pregnancy who suffered due its complications,identified, diagnosed,treated and recovered.
