ABOVE-GROUND LONG-SPAN BUILDINGS IN THE URBANIZED ENVIRONMENT OF MODERN CITIES

The article describes the experiences and design considerations in the development of the above-ground spaces over the railway tracks in countries such as South Korea, the USA, France, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The author analyzes the constructive and technological features of various types of above-ground long-span buildings in the urbanized environment of modern cities. Special attention is paid to the experience of the Department of Architecture at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering in the design of various types of above-ground long-span buildings in the urbanized environment of modern cities
