THE TRANSLATION OF MEDICAL TERMS IN THE FICTION TEXT

The article is devoted to English medical terms in the fiction text as well as to their translation. The study has shown that the quantity of medical terms in the text under analysis is high, despite the fact that this type of text is not a natural environment for terms. The translation analysis has shown that the majority of medi- cal terms are translated into Russian without any transformations, though one tenth of them is rendered by means of transformations
