Abstract

In this article, the authors note that undergraduate students of a medical University in the study of discipline «physical culture and sport» must be formed competence, which primarily relate to the use of physical exercises for strengthening their own health, and how to use this knowledge in professional activities of students still do not understand. A very important question is raised-the need to teach students of medical universities the basics of improving physical culture, which is associated with the need for practical health care in carrying out broad preventive measures in the fight against the most common noncommunicable diseases. It is recommended to draw up a comprehensive curriculum, which should be in the study of subjects to focus on the impact of regular physical activity or hypokinesia on the structure and functions of organs and systems of the human body.
