Müze ve Tarihi Mekân Uygulamalarının 7. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Müze ve Tarihi Mekân Algılarına Etkisi: Bir Eylem Araştırması

The aim of this research is to design teaching activities aimed at effective utilization of museums and historic places in 7th grade social studies teaching, to implement such activities and to determine how such activities affect the museum and historic place perception of the students. Within the framework of this study which is designed in accordance with action research model; 34 activities are implemented with a 36-student-class in an official secondary school located in Yunusemre District of Manisa Province for nine different places selected amongst the museums and historic places of Manisa Province. Observation, interview and document analysis are used for data collection. For data analysis, content analysis and document analysis techniques are used. Research results show that the museum and historic place perception of the students have changed positively in line with the developed activities. Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde müzeler ve tarihi mekânlardan etkin faydalanmaya yönelik öğretim etkinlikleri tasarlayarak bu etkinlikleri uygulamak ve bu etkinliklerin öğrencilerin müze ve tarihi mekân algılarını nasıl ve ne şekilde etkilediğini belirlemektir. Eylem araştırması modeline göre desenlenen çalışma kapsamında Manisa ili Yunusemre ilçesindeki resmi bir ortaokuldaki 36 kişilik bir sınıfla Manisa'nın müze ve tarihi mekânları içerisinden seçilen dokuz farklı mekâna yönelik toplamda 34 ayrı etkinlik geliştirilerek uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak gözlem, görüşme ve doküman analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi ve doküman analizi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, öğrencilerin müze ve tarihi mekân algılarının geliştirilen etkinlikler doğrultusunda olumlu yönde değiştiğini göstermiştir.
