The validity of contemporary political theory in an online society

Internet signifies a new spatiality and temporality in social relations; therefore, it is also a new political space in different dimensions. How can we understand a conjunctural phenomenon as Internet with the new social and political relations? Do the political and social theories are adapted to these changes or it is necessary to create new ones from observable changes? Throughout this essay will be analyzed and compared some political and social theorists 's thesis to understand what means this new phenomenon, its historical-political-social relevance and the adaptability of the "not so new" contemporary theories to the new cyber social reality.
