From print to electronic: a symbiosis of elements to disseminate scientific production in university organizations

Abstract

The paper aims to make an argumentative analysis of metamorphosis evident in the transition from print to electronic, from a symbiosis of elements used to make the scientific production in university organizations. Through a literature review of a bibliographic design traceability of journals that disseminate knowledge by providing visibility, impact and popularity with the academic world in the course of time, taking as reference the socio-historical background that reveals some reasons to be explained changes that have occurred and their impact on the improvement of the material that is published, including number of links received, the chances of downloading content in other languages​​, meeting frequency, location and ease of formats that allow greater accessibility to users. An inventory of the advantages provided and disadvantages that must be assumed, then take stock of the results obtained during the development stage is also made. Finally, considering that the evolutionary process is seen publications from books to make the changes to the presence of electronic communication networks, it is possible to analyze the birth of memory and dissemination of knowledge to ensure the continued high standards of quality in publications, especially in the university context.
