THE OPINIONS OF INFORMATION RELATIONS TEACHER AND THEIR STUDENTS WITH REGARD TO LESSONS OF ROBOTS AND DECODING

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determinate the opinions of IR teachers and their students as to Robotics and decoding. In this context, ten IR teachers who are tutoring in schools located in the city center of D. and fifteen of their tutees heve been interviewed. The answers have been analysed within the determined frame of general views, the perceived benefits, the obsrved benefits, the acquisition, the contribution to academic success. The consolidation outside of school, the participation of family and the contribution to academic success. As regards to the result of the research, it has been determined that the teachers who give these lectures and their students agree that they benefit from the acqusition that are provided by robotic and coding lessons such as, problem solving, creative thinking, numerical thinking, additive studying, systematic and analytic thinking and designing. Additionally it has been determined that participation of family and the consolidation out of school has a significiant contribution to robotics and coding lessons. In accordance with the results it has been determined that especially in numerical branches the students and teachers of robotics and coding agree that student's academical success enhances through these lessons.
