Research of the level of satisfaction with the work of the personnel of industrial enterprises of Ukraine

Abstract

The article considers job satisfaction as one of the main quality characteristics of the labor force, which in modern conditions of management is considered the main resource of any enterprise. Job satisfaction assessment is particularly relevant for industrial enterprises, as it involves the majority of employed among all economic activities. The level of satisfaction with the work of the personnel of industrial enterprises of Ukraine during 2014- 2017 is studied. The dynamics of the number of employed people in Ukraine aged 15-70 years and the number of employees in the industry are analyzed, the main trends in the movement of personnel are revealed (in particular, for reasons of fluidity). The dynamics of the number of industrial personnel in forced underemployment is considered. A comparative analysis of the dynamics of the average monthly wage in Ukraine and industry, as well as arrears of payment of wages. The study revealed negative trends: the number of people employed in the industry is gradually decreasing; the desire of industrial personnel to change the type of activity is growing; most layoffs occur due to for reasons of fluidity; the number of employees on vacation is growing without salary preservation, transferred for economic reasons to part-time work (week); the level of wages in industry is insufficient to ensure the stability of personnel, recovery and capacity-building of industrial enterprises; the increase of the amount of unpaid wages has a negative impact on the formation of personnel of industrial enterprises. In general, there was a decrease in the level of satisfaction with the work of the personnel of industrial enterprises during 2014-2017 and the lack of effective factors that would contribute to its increase.
