Abstract
In this article the Armenian sonatinas for children of the end of the 1960 - 1980s are considered. We focus on the brightest, in our opinion, piano samples of this genre, in pa rticular, on sonatinas by Levon Chaushyan, Ervand Erkanyan and Ruben Sargsyan. The purpose of this article is to reveal the features and tendencies in the Arme- nian piano sonatinas of the 1960 - 1980s.
