MORPHOLOGY OF THE SPLEEN OF CATTLE IN AGE ASPECT

The resear ch of spleen structure of cattle of different age groups is the purpose of this paper . Based on the research findings, complete morphofunctional spleen maturation with clear determination of white pulpa on T - dependent and B - dependent zones is reached to 1 - month age. In other senior groups (4 - 7, 9 month, 1 year) in the white pulpa obvious microscopic changes weren't noted. Only noticeable increase was observed in cells of white pulpa and with age insignificant reduction of the B - zone was noted. The cellular structure of zones is presented by T - and B - lymphocytes, plasmablasts and plasma cells, splenocytes and single perivascular mast cells. In red pulpa, besides these cells, there is a large number of erythrocytes, separate eosinophils and neutrophils.
